Zynastor has been in the game hacking scene for a long time now. He first started hacking games like Diablo and Warcraft. He used to work with Permaphrost for Zerogamers. You can find him on BWhacks.com updating his well known Starcraft Hack Oblivion.
Interview
1. You've been hacking games for how long?
I cant really remember lol, I was using hacks and editing a bit of code back in th day but I wouldnt call that hacking
since I actaully started learning probably somewhere between 3 or 4 years
on and off tho
I remember I was into d2/wc3 back then so I wasnt making no hacks just playing them games
2. What programming language did you first learn?
mASM
3. Was that tough to learn considering it was your first language?
sorta, I was already writing hacks with assembly and using like tsearch to compile them.
So it was just a matter of learning and understanding how masm worked
But I had Drakkens Template and that to help me out
4. When did you first know about Drakken?
I think in sc 1.11 I heard of him
so how ever long ago that was
When I started getting into gamehacking Drakken left and dt took over
5. So what was your first hack?
thats a hard one to remember lol
I think offline mineral/gas/supply hacks
same with diablo 1, gold/stats hack and that
But the first decent hack I wrote was crash hack I think
AHI crash hack that was used with F9 key.
I also wrote the anti for that too, I remember trying it on overflow636 lol
6. You worked with Overflow636 too?
well not worked with him, I had a few games with him and he was good friends with a guy from my crew aka Valkaire
I got his source code for his final multihack
yup, me and only a few other had it but u know perma, he likes to leak stuff
so then a lot more people ended up getting it
you know the reason Overflow636 was no longer staff anymore?
He leaked screenshots of dt saying inhale is backdoored
back then me and valkaire, perma were against dt
everyone said they were fake
but they werent lol, dt and valkaire came to an agreement. and dt removed the backdoor
7. And what exactly did the backdoor do?
like damned666 I believe
control their units, make them say stuff, crash, drop
Extended was also backdoored
thats why OverFlow asked me what public hacks I were using when I gamed with him
because I was trying to crash/drop him and he was trying to do the same to me
Funny how things change tho, back then I was against bwhacks and not really known
now I am with bwhacks and very well known for sc
8. So who else did you work around or with during that time?
I was working with perma back then and some other friends who wern't into gamehacking as much as me and perma were
but thats basically it, just perma lol. We have known each other for a long time
9. In the mean time, are you planning on more future updates of Oblivion?
Yup, the new one should be done soon
But how much more updates after that idk
ViperGTSR3g: depending on how long Blizzard will let you break it's back?
that and I am losing interest
I will probably only do minior updates, nothing big like v3.0.2 again
10. What new features is in store for everyone?
I posted whats new in the Oblivion support thread. New features are only selection hack and build anywhere
But selectionhack is a lot of work, I had to change a few thing with queue unit and zerg mineral hack for it to work with selection hack
and then there is a lot of other messing around, it was a bit of a mess before but now that its nearly done it comming alot good

thats how much u can select upto so yeah u can do it on 252 larva aswell
just had to make some minior changes for it to work tho

well devide that by 12
max BYTE value is 256
before I had it for 255 units but I had to do a bit extra work for the 3 units more
this time I thought fuck it, 252 fine
11. How did you end up with the name Zynastor?
I wanted a unique name and something starting with a Z, I saw a name that had a Dy and thought Zy would be pretty kool
so I starting thinking of a lot of random stuff
starting with zy of course
it was original
zynastor I think of zynaster
